Obama Doth Sucketh! T-Shirt

In the 1980s when the government shut down President Reagan, with his signature by Executive Order, declared all active military personnel to be essential employees and thus insured that the military would continue to get paid. They would not have to wait until a new budget passed and was signed into law. In the 1990s President Clinton did just the same thing. But Obama has chosen to hold our military hostage to budget negotiations and the Democrats voted against a stand alone bill which would have funded the military until the end of the year. Welfare recipients are automatically covered when the government shuts down but the military that are fighting in three theatres at the present time, not to mention the fact that they're fighting the global war on terrorism, have to worry about whether or not they're family is going to be able to pay their bills or not and also dodging bullets. Democrats don't care about people and/or the little guy; they only care about how to get enough of a percentage of votes to win reelection. One way is to contest in court the overseas military's votes from qualifying because they arrive back late after they do everything they can to delay their being delivered to them overseas in the first place. The Democrats do not do anything unintentionally. They crashed the economy to get their guy in there, first by sending in their designated Schmuck Man to cause a run on the banks, and they've not let the economy get back up since. Last year they held both houses of congress and the White House. They could easily have passed a 2011 budget and then have let us read it to find out what was in it but no, they wanted to punt it to the Republican Congressional majority this year, closer to next years election, shut down the government and blame all of the starving of the elderly on the cold heartedness of the right and the Tea Party people.
