NYC Commodore Vanderbilt Locomotive Poster

NYC Commodore Vanderbilt Locomotive Poster

From www.railphotoexpress.biz; A Class J-1 Hudson,The Commodore Vanderbilt #5344 , was the first NYC streamlined Steam Locomotive. It was outshopped in December of 1934. The New York Central Hudsons were a series of 4-6-4 "Hudson" type steam locomotives built by the American Locomotive Company and the Lima Locomotive Works from 1927 to 1938 for the New York Central Railroad. Named after the Hudson River, the 4-6-4 wheel arrangement came to be known as the "Hudson" type in the United States as these locomotives were the first examples built and used in North America. Built for high-speed passenger train work, the Hudson locomotives were famously known for hauling the New York Central's crack passenger trains, such as the 20th Century Limited and the Empire State Express. With the onset of diesel locomotives in the mid 20th Century, all Hudson locomotives were retired and scrapped by the late 1950s.

My Bible verse postcard, turned out excellent. I love it and have it already framed. It was so reasonably priced for something done so well. Thank you to Zazzle and the artist! I thought it looked exactly like what I ordered. Perfect.

Poster is printed clearly, good quality . Inclusive of many prints . The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown

I am a fan of Ravens and needed to have a poster of my favourite bird. The image quality is sharp.
