Nubble Lighthouse Apron, Kitchen Apron Nubble Light A apron with a watercolor image of Nubble Light in Maine, The watercolor was painted plein aire on location. Being left handed, I sat in the passenger seat of my car and spread out my watercolor paints on the passenger seat and spent my summer afternoon sketching then painting this watercolor. Nubble is about 1/2 hour from my home, I go there often. Going there makes me feel like I have been on vacation, if only for a few hours.
