Constructed during 1889 and 1890, Nos 1196 - 1204 Yonge St in the Summerhill neighbourhood of Toronto Canada is a four floor mix of apartments and store fronts. Over the years, the street level store fronts have been home to a Stationery Shop, a Grocer, a Shoemaker, a Plumber, a Chinese Restaurant, a Drugstore with a Post Office and an Undertaker (The York Burial Company) among others. The building was designated as a Heritage Property by The City of Toronto in 2022.
