Tromso is a municipality in Troms county, Northern Norway. The city of Tromso contains the highest number of old wooden houses, the oldest one dating from 1789. Many festivals take place there since it's the cultural centre for the region. One can see the northern lights ( aurora borealis) as northern Norway is located in the auroral zone.
