North Dakota State Flag (North Dakotan)

This design features the state flag of North Dakota, which is located in the midwestern and northern regions of the United States. North Dakota was admitted to the US Union on November 2, 1889, along with its neighbouring state, South Dakota. North Dakota contains the tallest man-made structure in the Western Hemisphere, the KVLY-TV mast. North Dakota is sometimes known as the "Peace Garden State", the "Roughrider State" or "Flickertail State". The capital of North Dakota is Bismarck and its largest city is Fargo.
