Noonday Clipper sailing ship 1900 Keychain

Noonday Clipper sailing ship 1900 Glidden & Williams was a Boston-based clipper ship packet line that ran ships between Boston and California in the 1850s and 1860s. The line primarily ran ships between the two cities. The line was headed for San Francisco from Lewis Wharf in Boston. Some ships launched by Glidden & Williams include the Golden West in 1852 and the Radiant in 1853. There are also clipper ship sailing cards for Glidden & Williams The period of clipper ships lasted from the early 1840s to the early 1890s. At the 'crest of the clipper wave' year of 1852, there were 200 clippers rounding Cape Horn. Up to 400 clipper ships were built, between 1840s to the early 1890 The only intact survivor is Cutty Sark, which was preserved as a museum ship in 1954 at Greenwich.
