Reproduction of Historic Archival T-shirt When Dan White, the assassin of San Francisco Supervisor Harvey Milk and Mayor George Moscone, was given the lightest possible sentence, protesters broke windows and burned police cars at San Francisco City Hall. The demonstration on May 21, 1979, came to be known as the White Night Riot. Those arrested sold this shirt to raise funds for their defence and to assert that the queer community had no reason to apologize for its righteous anger.
