This design features a nine-pointed star, which is an important symbol in the Baháʼí religion. According to the Abjad system of Isopsephy, which ascribes values to Arabic numerals, the word Baháʼ has a numerical significance of 9. The Baháʼí faith teaches the essential worth of all other religions and the unity of all people. It was established by Baháʼu'lláh in the 19th century, and the faith developed in Persia and various regions of the Middle East, where it has faced ongoing persecution since its formation. The religion is now estimated to have well over five million adherents, known as Baháʼís, and they are spread throughout most of the world's countries and territories. In geometry, a nine-pointed figure is known as a enneagram (or sometimes a nonagram).

I ordered these with interiors of yellow, red, maroon, pink, navy blue, and light blue. Note that the navy blue is VERY dark and looks black in some lighting.
