As tropical breezes blow through the plumeria and palm trees, gentle waves crash on the shore in this scenic Hawaiian textile print of Niihau Island, Hawaii. Niihau is the forbidden island in Hawaiian Island chain. It is one of only three places in the world where technology has not yet moved in, Niihau Island (pronounced Nee-ee-how) is a 72 square mile privately owned island just southwest of the island of Kauai. Purchased from King Kamehameha in 1864, this island has preserved many of the traditional ways of life, it is inhabited by about 200 locals whose primary language is Hawaiian. This design was inspired by the vintage Aloha Shirt designs of the fifties and sixties and comes in several colorways. This design has a coordinate scenic pattern.

I have eight senior dancers graduating from Fleet-Wood Dancentre this year, and I wanted to make them something special. Love this site, as there is such a selection that I was able to make eight unique dance totes for my dancers..... Also to be able to have my logo printed and included in the bags was the icing on the cake. Quality of the printing and the cotton was just perfect!! Cotton is so lovely to work with. I enjoy making "keepsake dance totes" for my students when they graduate!. The fabric presses beautifully. I love the thickness of the fabric. Has more substance than cotton bought at my local fabric store. The result is a sturdy bag, full of little storage pockets, and a lifetime memory. The inside of the dance totes were lined with fabric I ordered with my School logo. The printing was clear and sharp, colours vivid.
