NEW ZEALAND KIWI BIRD PAUA SHELL FERN KORU JANDALS FLIP FLOPS

Pretty chic pattern of NZ Kiwi birds. Each of these New Zealand native birds have three elements. They are black in shape, with a pāua shell body, and green fern koru. Paua or abalone sea shells are a beautiful shimmery blue green aqua colour. The fern koru shape also on the kiwi's body is a popular motif in New Zealand art. The Kiwi bird is an icon for Aotearoa NZ being both a native bird and the name adopted by New Zealanders in reference to themselves. Kiwi, pāua, and koru are all words from the NZ Māori language.
