Nearing the Speed of Light Postcard

The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. Nothing else in the universe can travel as fast as light. Theoretically, we can come close. The result would be a distortion in the space-time continuum. What would that look like, though. Here you see an artistic representation of the distortion of space-time. In the middle of this fractal, you see a bright blue light. Coming out from the centre are a couple of bands of other white, green, and purple lights. The white, green, and purple lights that are in the centre are more stretched out than the outer ones due to the time distortion.
