"Nature Nights Wolf & Snowy Owl" Original Art Mug. Coffee Mug

I created these paintings as part of a set for the Easthampton City Arts+ Small Works show in 2012. Now I'm offering it as a mug for everyone to enjoy. I wanted to create small, but beautiful winter themed paintings of nature. I chose my two favourite animals, the wolf and the owl. I love blues, purples and greens, which I focused on in these paintings. The Owl painting depicts a snowy owl sitting on a tree in a forest at night. The Wolf features the face of a wolf, half in shadow with a glowing full moon and dark trees with a purple night sky. Originally created in watercolors on hot pressed paper in 2012. ©2012 Victoria K. I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
