Native American Boy my 2004 drawing postcard ... My original scratchboard project subject had been a male blue peacock with a spread open tail. But, the student supplies shop had sold me a cheaper scratchboard which I scratched holes in. Teacher suggested I buy the heavier if I wished to start over so that was what I did. But, I had to rush to make the project deadline. I was up all night drawing this ... took it to school and finished it up there. It became one of the favourites of both illustration classes.
