Mysterious Yokai Swordsman Postcard
This nameless yokai appears on the Bakemono Konrei Emaki (化物婚礼絵巻, Ghost Wedding Scroll), drawn by an unknown artist in the Edo period of Japan, sometime between the early 1600s to the mid 1800s. He is a samurai with a tall, gourd-shaped head and a catfish moustache.
The description on the back of the postcard reads "Front: An unnamed gourd-headed swordsman youkai, from the Bakemono Konrei Emaki (Ghost Wedding Scroll), drawn by an unknown artist during the Edo Period of Japan."
