I tried out this new fabric design feature at Zazzle, and have posted several designs for quilt fabric. This was one I really wanted for a project for myself, so I got to make it and buy it, too! I like the fabric, it washed up great--nice and soft, but sturdy, It was difficult choosing the size for the print since the page doesn't give a clear idea on how big it all is, but this one was just what I wanted.The only thing i didn't like about the whole process is that the fabric isn't covered edge to edge with the print, there is a 4-5" white border around the yard I purchased. I bought a "fat quarter" of another print that was full edge to edge, so that was ok, but it says the fabric is 56" wide, which it is, but the print area is quite a bit smaller--for the price, I was disappointed in this. I was a little concerned about the color because colors can vary a lot from monitor to printer even at home, but this was ok. I'll go for a little less green next time as this was a little more teal that I wanted, but it will do. I was also pleased with the tiling. Very little was visible of the seam in the design--something I worked quite a bit to manage. The thumbnail image makes it look like some of the crows are faded, but in the actual fabric all are crisp and black.

I have eight senior dancers graduating from Fleet-Wood Dancentre this year, and I wanted to make them something special. Love this site, as there is such a selection that I was able to make eight unique dance totes for my dancers..... Also to be able to have my logo printed and included in the bags was the icing on the cake. Quality of the printing and the cotton was just perfect!! Cotton is so lovely to work with. I have ordered several times already and will be again.
