Mr. Skygack observes a broken-down automobile Postcard

Images in my store have been copied, cleaned and colorized to properly welcome Mr. Skygack to the 21st Century! Mr. Skygack from Mars" was a comic panel, penned by A. D. Condo, from 1907 to the mid 1910's. His mission was to come to earth and take notes of earthling behaviour to report back to Mars. Unfortunately, Mr. Skygack wasn't familiar with earthling behaviour, so he was forever misunderstanding the scene which he observed, making for some rather comical situations. It is important to note that Mr. Skygack From Mars pre-dates Buck Rogers as a newspaper comic by over two decades, even though Buck gets the credit for being the first science fiction comic feature! About dates: In the early days of comic strips & panels, it seems that there was not a set rule for regularity. Weekly features seemed to appear in the newspapers that carried them with regularity, but although "daily" comics did exist in some newspapers, other newspapers didn't seem to observe the rule. I have found Mr. Skygack comics appearing in the same paper four times in one week, and then not at all for the next two weeks. I have also found a particular Skygack panel in one newspaper, only to appear a week or two later in another paper. For this reason, when "dating" Mr. Skygack From Mars, I use the earliest date which I have personally found. This image (Number 4 in the series), October 31, 1907: "Listened for some time to wonderful talking machine---throws off very disagreeable smell---See no practical use for the contrivance---Noticed one wheel was out of breath."
