Mount Horeb in the Sinai Desert Postcard
An old photo of Mount Horeb (Mount Sinai), in the Sinai Peninsula, between Egypt and the holy land of Israel. For many centuries it has been believed to be the mountain at which the Ten Commandments were given to Moses by God. The photo was taken by Francis Frith, one of the pioneers of photography in the Levant and it is more than 160 years old.
