Das Motiv der Postkarte zeigt den mit 3754m höchsten Berg Neuseelands: Mount Cook auch Aoraki genannt. Der Begriff entstammt der Maori-Sprache und bedeutet "Durchbohrer der Wolken". Die Aufnahme entstand im Mai 2012. Dabei wurde der sogenannte "Miniatureffekt" verwendet. Dabei wird nur ein schmaler Ausschnitt des Motivs scharf belassen und der Rest des Bildes wird verschwommen bzw. unscharf dargestellt.
