Let Mom know what a great job she is doing with the annual performance review. She's done such great work that she deserves a day off. Happy Mother's Day. On the inside of the cover is a poem written by Kristopher Ivie in honour of Mother's Day: You knew this job would not be easy After that nine month orientation The first interview had us both crying And then you took me home to live with you You did all the work while I got the praise You worked late without getting overtime And you never asked me for a raise The surveys all said you were underpaid You've been training me to live without you Even though this is a lifelong position You bought your own healthcare and paid mine too I couldn't even provide a pension I can never afford what you are worth You were the perfect person for this job Thank you so much for giving me birth And thank you so much for being my Mom
