Monument 83, also known as Holdover Peak, is the northernmost fire lookout site in the contiguous United States straddling the U.S.-Canada border. Perched high in Washington's North Cascades, this remarkable site features a historic 1930s log cabin cupola on Canadian soil and a 1952 L-4 lookout tower on the American side.
