Montgomery Clan Castle Sage, Tartan Throw Pillow

A wonderful painting from the 1800s depicts the Montgomery Clan’s Eglinton Castle, its seat for hundreds of years. The painting is against a medium sage green background, framed by deep sage. Eglinton is the ancient home of the clan chief, the Earl of Eglinton. The current structure is a Gothic castellated style, built between 1797 and 1802. The original castle was burnt by the Earl of Glencairn in 1528. Eglington is located near Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, Scotland. The back side features your monogram initial on the clan's deep purple, green and red tartan, under Crown Copyright and used courtesy of the Scottish Register of Tartans. Add your monogram initial in a bold white font. We've used "M" for Montgomery, but suggest you use your own name if you are a sept of the Montgomery clan with a different last name.
