Montessori Yellow Knobless Cylinder Puzzle
Perfect for a Montessori child or teacher, this puzzle features the artwork of South Carolina artisan and AMS certified teacher, Amy Kuhl Cox. The child depicted is completing the yellow set of Knobless Cylinders, a popular material in a Montessori Primary classroom. Amy works from photographs to draw the black lines with Micron markers. Amy curves each corner when the lines intersect so that the lines become the simulated "leading" of stained glass. After scanning the drawing, Amy uses the computer to "paint" in the textures of stained glass into each section of her drawing.

This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
