Monte Cara is a copy of a 24"x18" acrylic painting by Edson Lima, inspired by the place I was born, Sal Sao Vincente. Sao Vincente is an island off the west coast of Africa, and from the beach one can see a mountain from a distance with a silhouette of a face which the natives call Monte Cara.
