MONET Water Lilies 1916 bright hues tote bag

French Impressionist painter, Claude Monet painted this Water Lilies --- 1916 originally as an oil on canvas painting from the inspirations of his own backyard in early 20th Century France. Being 76 yrs of age when he painted this water lily pond creation, Monet's cataracts were progressing and changing his perception of colour. The worse his cataracts became, the more reds, purples, and dark blues he put into his paintings. The darker blue of these two renditions is more likely closer to the original art, though the yellow hues version is most pleasing with its bright contrast and rich lighter tones.
