Composition with Large Red Plane, Yellow, Black, Grey, and Blue Piet Mondrian began to create the definitive abstract paintings in the 1920s for which he is best known for. He kept his palette limited to white, black, and grey in addition to the three primary colours, red, yellow, and blue. His compositions constructed from thick, black horizontal and vertical lines that outline the various rectangles of colour. This was the simplification of the pictorial elements, essential for Mondrian's creation of new abstract art. The assortment of blocks of colour and lines differing in width creates a sense of rhythm that flows across the canvas, echoing that of modern life. This asymmetrical piece, Composition with Large Red Plane, Yellow, Black, Grey, and Blue, originally painted in 1921 features one large dominant block of colour, in this painting red, a common theme seen in his later works. This is balanced by the distribution of the smaller blocks of yellow, blue-grey, and white.

I ordered glasses with a custom design and they arrived damaged. The replacement forum was too buggy to use, but I was able to send a request through the general contact forum - they replied and confirmed a replacement was sent within a few days. If you're trying to make a symmetrical pattern, trust the pattern editor - don't trust the glasses preview, as the render will make one eye look slightly off. The editor is also slightly asymmetrical: I wasn't able to make the pattern perfect, but it's good enough that the offset isn't noticeable.
