The design and nomenclature are based on 'Heian Monkan'. (Created on March 23, 2013) The Owari Tokugawa family is also simply called the Owari family or Bishuu family. As the top family among the Three Tokugawa Families, it holds the highest rank among daimyo families. According to various crest books and literature, there are three types of hollyhock crests used by the Owari family.
