Mitsu Karauchiwa T-Shirt
Mitsu Karauchiwa is also called 'Mitsu Karauchiwa', but here we follow the name in 'Mon Den'. It is also known as 'Gunbaiuchiwa mon' in some sources, such as 'Nihon no Monsho' edited by Kosaku Ito, and is classified separately from 'Uchiwa mon'. / Also known as 'Karatouchiwa'. Made from materials such as woven bamboo, washi paper with lacquer coating, iron, and leather, it was introduced from China. Warlords used it as a command tool in the battlefield. This type of fan is depicted in picture scrolls of annual events and the Kamo Festival. Because it is an attribute of the warrior deity Marishiten, believers used it as a maedate on their helmets.
