[Minato-aoi] The number of stamens varies depending on the family register. "Heian Monkan" is 17 stamens, "Monten", "Nihon no Monsho" and "Kamon Daizen" are 19 stamens, and "Edo Monshoshu" is 33 stamens. This design was drawn based on "Heian Monkan." Although it is referred to as 'Mitsuaoi in the Mito family' in "Edo Monsho-shu" (The Collection of Edo Family Crests), 'Mitsuaoi in the Mito family' in "Monten" and "Kamon Daizen" (The Complete Crest of the Family), 'Mitsuaoi in the Mito family' in "Heian Monkan" (The History of the Heian Period), and 'Aoi in the Japanese Monsho' (The Crest of Japan).
