Misunderstood Medusa sulked and pouted at the Halloween party. She could bear the cheap comments like ‘serial surrealist’ and ‘your head on an aegis’, but what really got to her was the way everyone avoided eye contact. A pity, as she had spent so much time training her snakes and getting her make-up right. Well, you could say something like that at a party if someone asks you what it is all about. You could also say this is a new party game and others are invited to make up their own reasons why Medusa is misunderstood, or you could just admit that you are out to lunch or blame the artist. Poor old Medusa did get a raw deal with Poseidon forcing his attentions on her and then Athena reacting badly and all that.
