The image is of a fresco from the late Minoan period circa 1600 B.C. and is titled “Minoan Prince” or “The Feathered Prince”. The flowers are lilies and the prince is wearing a necklace of gold lilies. He is depicted with a narrow waist and broad shoulders. The fresco was found in the palace of Knossos in Crete, Greece. It is our Men in Art Series no. 242.
