Minerva /Athena - Goddess of Wisdom

This ancient Wonder Woman is from an original Retablo painted by KK Hannegan. Minerva/Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom. The owl travels with her. I added owl wings and an owl helmet to signify her spirit animal. The original retablo (pine board, rabbit skin glue gesso, egg tempera paint using earth and mineral pigments, was a commissioned piece). In Greek mythology, Minerva was birthed from the head of Zeus. She was fully armoured and ready for battle.
