Mimosa Blossoms Poster

The Mimosa is also called the Silk Tree. Its delicate fern-like leaves and profuse flowers are about 2 inches wide and an inch high. The little pods are about 1/16", maybe up to 3/32". This macro photo revealed to me some beauty I'd never seen before: individual blossoms go unnoticed in the plethora of blooms; we are distracted by the awesome abundance. And, it's a big tree; they're just too far away to see the colourful detail.
