A bloodless military coup occurred on 25th April 1974 in Portugal which ended the repressive and dictatorial leadership of the country. The Carnation Revolution was the last great popular uprising in Western European history. The longest dictatorship in Europe, the Estado Novo, had prevailed for almost 50 years - The old regime, or Estado Novo, was founded in 1933. Just past midnight tanks moved into Lisbon and took control of television, radio centres, and the airport. Troops armed with machine guns stormed the barracks where the Prime Minister and two of his ministers had taken refuge. Spontaneous demonstrations filled the streets. Thousands of civilians mingled with the soldiers, the newly formed MFA - Movement of Armed Forces - despite orders to stay inside.They shouted O Povo unido, jamais sera vencido! This means The united people will never be defeated. General Antonio de Spinola received the surrender of prime minister Marcelo Caetano. Caetano spent the rest of his life in exile in Brazil. This revolution brought Democracy to Portugal. This design is a pattern composed of military vehicles in camouflage traditional colours. It's an homage to those who made the Carnation Revolution possible – the Portuguese military troops. April 25 or Freedom Day is now celebrated as a national holiday in Portugal. After having this phone case for 6 months, I had to come back and write a review and I will leave a review on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) website as well just in case it gets removed off this website. This phone case took nearly 2 months for me to receive it. It got lost in transit and Zazzle never reached out to me to tell me. After a month of waiting I called them to notify them that I have not received my case. That’s when they reordered another one; but I believe that if I had not called, they would’ve swept my purchase under the rug and never established a refund or replaced the item lost. After not even a month of having the phone case it cracked on the side and now having the case for only 6 months now the back of my phone is completely shattered. I am still paying on this phone and this expensive case that I paid over $30 for did not offer any protection to prevent my phone from shattering. I am here to warn others of purchasing from this company! This case is not what they make it seem. It doesn’t even fit completely around the phone, the top and bottom part of the phone isn’t covered by the case leaving space for it to get damaged. The case itself is very flimsy and the design is very flat. This item was not worth the price & I am very angry with this company and will never purchase from them again. Very poor printing! My phone case does not match or reflect the advertised picture, I thought the glitter would be more realistic. The art is very flat and this company should feel ashamed for the price they charge for this cheap case! I now have to go on Amazon and purchase another case that’ll actually look nice and be inexpensive while offering full shatter protection to my phone.
