Mighty oaks from little acorns grow is an American proverb. All big things have a small beginning. This is an ink art drawing which scanned in to mak a vector illustration. The design uses brown and orange, colours which are associated with fall (autumn). The 'mighty' version of this proverb is known, in the USA at least, from the middle of the 19th century. I have found two meanings. One which says: "Something great can come from a modest beginning". An another which indicates: "Don't give up on the project".

Custom sizing to an exact square allowed me to frame the photo perfectly for the ceramic coaster. There were all kinds of editing options for the images. Very fun to do and they look awesome. I made them as a gift but got a few doubly made for me! Really well done. I wanted the images dark with low contrast and saturated colours and they came out exactly as I hoped!
