Mighty oaks from little acorns grow is an American proverb. All big things have a small beginning. This is a low detail ink art style. The illustration uses clean lines. The design is in Old Glory Red and Blue. These are the tradition colours of the American flag, the stars and stripes.
The 'mighty' version of this proverb is known, in the USA at least, from the middle of the 19th century. I have found two meanings. One which says: "Something great can come from a modest beginning". An another which indicates: "Don't give up on the project".

I used the same ones for my daughter's grad that I am using for my nieces' graduation. Professional looking and inexpensive.
