Petit Portal is a natural arch eroded out of the cliff face on the shoreline of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is found in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. In 1966, the U.S. Congress designated Pictured Rocks the first National Lakeshore in the United States.
