A spirited fusion of 'whimsical' and 'gothic,' WHIMSIGOTH is a style characterized by mischief and drama. Designs featuring "The Precious" (a spooky, cute cat who has a tendency to pop up in various iterations across clothing & home goods) are rooted in the public domain artwork by Louis Wain entitled "A Cat in Gothic Style", circa 1925-1939.
