Mangos adorn the backdrop of this iteration of 'The Precious' motif, done in pink, yellow & blue - an homage to the festive colour scheme of India. This spooky, cute cat (who pops up in various iterations across clothing & home goods) wishes you a "Mewwwy Christmas", and is rooted in the public domain artwork by Louis Wain, entitled "A Cat in Gothic Style", circa 1925-1939. A spirited fusion of 'whimsical' and 'gothic,' WHIMSIGOTH is a style characterized by mischief and drama. Decidedly more inviting (and modern) than its stark/dark counterpart, it's an intoxicating brew of all things frisky, brooding & lush. Playful patterns meet moody hues, rich florals merge with layered textures - it's a bag of contradictions that ought not work but instead forms an enchanting vibe with a macabre tickle.
