Meteor Dinosaur End Is Near Disaster Notebook

Remember what happened 65 million years ago? Now THAT was a disaster. In fact, it was an extinction level event. Goodbye dinosaurs, hello mammals. If it wasn’t for that meteor strike that formed the Chicxulub crater in Mexico, we might not be here. Now, the question is how long before some asteroid, meteor or comet comes by with our number on it? How about on Asteroid Day or Meteor Watch Day? Wouldn’t that be ironic? In the meantime, this could be a metaphor for the smaller personal disasters or completion events in our own lives. Perhaps high school or college graduation? The end of all that study may be near and it may or may not be a disaster. Probably depends on how much student loan debt you took out. Other events that could use a dose of humour might be important birthdays, retirements, job changes, divorces and so on. Celebrate with party supplies to chase the old out and welcome the new.
