Merry Christmas Modern Charcoal Grey Photo Collage Holiday Card

What a great product, and quick shipping! Was so frustrated with *other* card sites. Someone mentioned, Zazzle, so I checked it out. 15 minutes later, done. Very pleased with the end result too. Nice thick card-stock paper too. Perfect! Couldn't be happier.

My wife and I didn't have much time to make our card this year so we used one of Zazzle's templates. It was quick, easy and I like the template design. It saved us several hours of doing our own design and layout. The template and card is a good way to personalize cards. The printing on this batch was below the quality of previous cards. We've bought 4-8 cards from Zazzle and I was always blown away by the print quality. They were beautiful. I paid the Zazzle premium and avoided other custom printers because the Zazzle quality was impeccable (in contrast to others). Until this time. Although not as low quality as other printers who claim multi-hundred DPI processes, printing artifacts were evident on my first visual inspection and the colors are not nearly as vivid. I hope to get back to the previous level of quality the next time I use Zazzle. As tips, here are the things I did differently this time and what I will try next timet: 1. We uploaded pictures and used a zazzle template. The pictures were extremely high resolution images from our SLR, so I don't believe it was a problem with the sources. The template made the process quick and easy, but not worth the quality hit if that was the cause. Next time, I will mock up the full card myself at 300 DPI and upload the full image. 2. We used to get the glossy coating and this card was matte. We were rushing and I'm not sure if their was an option or not. I vaguely remember a price adder for glossy coating which I would opt for if available next time. The previous cards really popped! 3. We used to get 4" x 8" cards. This was our first 5" x 7". I doubt that would make a difference, but I'll switch back to 4" x 8" next time. I like the form fact better anyway.

Arrived on time and exactly how I designed them. I started with a default card and made subtle changes to font and size. They were simple but so beautiful and perfect to top our cookie boxes. Exactly our style and we couldn’t find anything close to this look anywhere else. Amazing quality on the printing. Thick and sturdy card stock and beautiful envelopes too
