Megumi Horio Mug

[Horio Meyui] The Meyui-mon/Horio clan was said to be a descendant of the Takashina clan and lived in the Kugose era in Owari. From the time of Tokichiro, Hideyoshi was referred to as Mosuke HORIO, later Yoshiharu. Yoshiharu distinguished himself in any battle where Hideyoshi fought, and he started as the lord of Wakasa Takahama-jo Castle in 1583, and advanced to Goshu Sawayama and Enshu Hamamatsu and possessed 120,000 koku. In his later years, Hideyoshi was listed as one of the Three Churo (Senior Council Members) of the Important Posts, next to Gotairo (Council of Five Elders). After Yoshiharu, his son, Tadauji succeeded to the Eastern Camp in the Battle of Sekigahara, and the Izumo-Matsue Domain (240,000 koku) after the war doubled its crop yield.
