Medieval Themed Birthday Gothic Knight Black Gold Invitation
This vintage black and gold invitation for an medieval theme birthday party has in the upper part a medieval castle gate between two gothic towers, guarded by two knights in armours, with halberds. Above them there are other two knights in armour, riding on horseback, carrying flags, and in the centre, above the gate, there is a heraldic lion. The text is written in golden letters under the illustration. The name and the age are written with medieval style gothic fonts. The background is black.
The vintage black and gold image with gothic decoration is from an antique book cover, "Marmion, a Tale of Flodden Field" by Sir Walter Scott, from 1839, now in the public domain.
