The medieval age gave us a great deal of patterns. I started exploring those styles some years ago and looked for examples. Mostly because I wanted patterns which weren't that common. And I wanted something that looked vintage.
This example is a medieval geometric pattern design. It consists of red cross with mustard yellow green blue an black in a square tile pattern. This style is from the Romanesque period.

Gorgeous paper, a little heavier than traditional decoupage tissue, but it worked beautifully on my project nonetheless. Elegant - simple- tres chic! The printing turned out beautifully, it is consistent throughout the entire print with a somewhat faded or mottled coloration. I am in love with this paper.
