To this day, the iron cross sits on the hillside overlooking the mountain city of Corte, Corsica (a territory of France). The Mediterranean winter shows in the dim colours in the background as the wrought iron cross draws our thoughts and attention toward heaven. Just as this cross looks down on the city day after day so God watches over all of His children day after day, moment after moment. He is always there. He never leaves us or forsakes us.
