I had just got done mentioning a man I ran into the desert who was camped nearby and wondered where & how he was then bam; coiled & ready; "Hello, Mr. Rattlesnake." This is off highway 71 (left side). personal note: if you ever got to see Ralph B.'s landscape art of this Martinez Creek/Wash area; it is breath-taking. His figurative art of his family & Jim, I just love.
