On the watch, you can see a reproduction of the painting “The Baltic Sea” by Alexei Bogolyuboff, court painter to the Russian emperors. He was a naval officer whose artistic talent was noticed by members of the Russian Imperial House. Russian sovereigns Alexander II and Alexander III decorated the walls of their palaces with his marine works. This painting was created in the 1880s.
