My first Album was Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show and had the song Marie Laveau on it. If you haven't heard it check out Youtube for several versions. They have a couple animations on there as well that are worth a watch. For those who do not know The Legion of Marie Laveau she was a voodoo witch in the Louisiana Bayou who fell in love with handsome Jack who promised to make her is bride if she made him rich. When she does and handsome Jack backs out of the wedding all sorts of voodoo hell breaks loose. Like the song says... another man done gone.
