Mallard Duck Scene Hoodie

For my father, duck hunting was a Fall activity he seldom missed. His stories of the cold, clear mornings, breaking skim ice on the way to the blind, the long quiet waiting have stayed with me all my life. While I do not hunt, I do appreciate the natural world and try to bring some of his stories into my art. Here the scene of a mallard landing near the blind has been told to me many times. The white background tells us that in the Fall the sky is not always a clear blue, a snow squall could be on us soon. Thank you for your many stories, dad. p.s.
