National flag of Malawi The Malawian national flag is a horizontal triband flag in the Pan-African colours of red, black and green. In the centre of the flag is a white sun. This design was adopted in 2010, and has a 2:3 ratio. Note that any distortion in the preview image is caused by compression artefacts, and won't be printed.
